Pleasant Hill Preschool — "Where Learning Is Fun!"

Pleasant Hill Preschool's mission is to communicate God's love as it is revealed through Jesus Christ, to children by providing an environment that encourages each child to grow spiritually, socially, cognitively, physically and emotionally. We are a Christian program, but we do acknowledge and respect the different religions and cultures represented in the program.

In the Gospel, Jesus declares, “Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.” Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church understands that a significant part of it’s ministry is to enable parents to provide for the spiritual nurture of their children. Through our preschool program each child is encouraged to worship God, to practice prayer, to show respect in the sanctuary, and to see the need to treat all others as equals in God’s sight.

We have a well-rounded program which includes emphasis on:

Practical Life Skills
Large and Small Motor Development

2008 - 2009

Jungle Buddies —
Children enrolling in this classroom must be between 16 months of age and 24 months of age by August 31, 2008.

Kangaroos —
Children enrolling in this classroom will be 24 months to 36 months by August 31, 2008.

Teddy Bears and Rainbows —
Children enrolling in these classrooms must be 3 years old by August 31, 2008.

Frogs and Shining Stars —
Children enrolling in these classrooms must be 4 years old by August 31, 2008.

PHPC Preschool will be in compliance with the new dates for the state of NC, including the Charlotte/Mecklenburg School System, as well as the public school systems in the state of SC.

Annual Registration fee will be $125 per child.

The monthly fees:

3 Days
$201 per month for 3 days per week, which includes Traveling Tumblebugs and pizza once a week.

4 Days
$231 per month for 4 days per week for children who will be in the pre-k classroom, which includes Traveling Tumblebugs and pizza once a week.

Toddlers (Jungle Buddies) children must be 16 months and walking by September 1, in order to enroll in the Mothers' Morning Out Program.

Children ages 2,3, and 4 must have reached those birthdays by August 31, to enroll in the Two, Three, or Four year old classes.
